Very useful for non-Chinese speaking family

Our 2.5-year-old son loves encyclopedias and especially nursery rhyme books. Since we don't speak Chinese, the Language Monkey Reader is incredibly useful. Our son can independently listen to the words and songs he wants, which is very convenient.

What we particularly appreciate is the interactive pen system. Being able to simply tap on words or pictures and instantly hear the pronunciation or audio is a feature that is surprisingly rare on the market. It makes learning fun, engaging, and accessible even for children whose parents do not speak the language.

Bilingual Learning Fun

The encyclopedia allows children to learn lots of words that are practical and for every day use. The music CD and book is fun for my kid who loves to listen on repeat because they have translated classic English songs such as Old MacDonald into Mandarin and Cantonese. I wish the monkey reader had an on and off button that was on the side instead of the front. When the child holds the reader, accidentally turns it off. Great investment, I would definitely recommend this set for any parent.

My First Bilingual Encyclopedia

My 1 year old (nearly 2) grandson really enjoyed listening to the songs and using the pen to listen to the Cantonese words. He interacted with his mother and had a great time. We will take it away on holiday - to see how the future will pan out. Great to have a package like this for the younger learner.
